Engagement Session at Gas Works
I recently shot an engagement session for this lovely couple who were visiting Seattle from Portland. Despite growing up in the PNW, living in Seattle for almost 8 years, and spending much of my free time rowing on Lake Union, this was actually my first time doing a photoshoot at Gas Works Park. Usually my photoshoots lean more green and woodsy, so it was fun to be doing something with city and waterfront views.
These two were a delight to work with. It was clear how much they loved each other, but also how much fun they have together. They were constantly making each other laugh, and I had to do very little to get natural smiles from both of them. As they warmed up to the camera, we also managed to get some more intimate and tender moments between them. And of course, we had to include a cheesy leg pop kiss at the very end of the session.
I'm so happy with how these photos turned out, and I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding next year!
