Engagement Session at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden
I recently did an engagement photoshoot for a couple based in Seattle, WA, whose wedding I'll be shooting later this summer. As many queer couples do, they wanted to take their photos somewhere woodsy and botanical, and Kruckeberg Botanic Garden in Shoreline was the perfect location. It's full of beautiful plants and cozy nooks that are perfect for romantic and intimate photos.
These two were very sweet and so excited about the botanic garden. In between poses and prompts, they would often get distracted and start pointing out plants to each other (which also led to some great photos).
We saved some time at the end of the shoot to take a couple of photos in their shirts that say "trans is beautiful". As a queer photographer, I always love being able to celebrate queer love in different ways with my clients, so this was the perfect way to end the session.
